Song of Solomon 2:10-14 Walking with Jesus

Today's devotional is from Song of Solomon 2:10-14.

Today's verses speak of the relationship between Jesus and His bride, the Church, the believers.

Believers go through a season of sowing, watering by the Lord and the harvest. Jesus is telling us that the season of sowing and watering has ended, and that the season of harvest has come. Hallelujah! However, there is still more work to do for the believers.

Interestingly, He is telling us that the voice of the turtledove which represents the Holy Spirit is heard even more in the season of harvest. He is telling us that there is more work to be done in the season of harvest to reap and gather them! We need His direction where the harvest is! We still need to climb the rocky steps of the hillside to come to where the harvest is. We are coming out of the sheltered and secret place of the steep pathway. We will find the harvest as we seek Jesus.

We may be in a different season right now but let us continue to work hard in the season of harvest to gather them. Harvest season requires a lot of hard work. We need His guidance to know where it is, how to gather them and how to use them for the next season of sowing. As we seek Christ, the Word, we will receive the Wisdom to know what to do.

May He richly bless you all today!
