Today's devotional is from Matthew 2:13-15.
God intends to protect us to fulfill the God given destiny. He even directs us to move geographically for a season for protection. Is God speaking to us to move somewhere for a season? God speaks to us even through dreams and believers hear His voice. (ref John 10:27) And let us obey His guidance for protection.
For the prophecies to come to pass, we need to be obedient to His calling and guidance. Joseph obeyed and the prophecy by Hosea was fulfilled. It is important that we follow His guidance on every step of the walk with Christ. I walk by faith and not by sight. (ref 2 Corinthians 5:7) Even if the situation may not look good, we are to continue to walk by faith believing in what the Scriptures say, and promise. We are to walk as believers that reign in life, (ref Romans 5:17) persevere, (ref James 1:4) but imperfect (ref Romans 3:23) receiving His mercy towards myself and revealing to others. (ref Luke 6:36)
